
Congratulations to Miss McKinney on being selected as Champion Staff Member of the Month. Miss McKinney has been rocking her first year and we appreciate all her efforts in helping her kindergarteners being the best students they can be!


COSI and Honda teamed to to visit Anna Elementary and discuss careers in science and provide science kits for grades 3-5.



Zaylen Bensman is leading the fourth graders in math facts. He can solve 57 in a minute!! Great job Zaylen!

Mrs. Schloss & Miss McKinney's kindergarten classes built bird nests this week. This finished up our unit on living things.









2nd Grade Pilgrims Enjoyed a Thanksgiving Feast!

Kindergarten took a trip to OSU Lima to watch the Ugly Duckling performance. The kids loved the show! 🐣











Our 1st grade students visited The Ohio State University-Lima branch- to watch The Ugly Duckling play!






Anna Local Schools students will have the opportunity to purchase a sports pass that will allow them entrance to all home sporting events for the remainder of the school year (Boys and girls high school and junior high basketball games and track meets; over 40 total events).
Student passes will be on sale only on November 20, 21, 27, 28, 29, 30, 2023 in the office of the high school and elementary. We will accept checks (made payable to the Anna Local Schools) or cash. We will start issuing passes on November 27, 2023.
Cost:
If you participate in an Anna Local Schools winter sport in grades 7-12 (Basketball, Pep Band, Cheerleading) you can purchase the pass for $30.00.
If you are enrolled in Kindergarten through the 6th grade, you can purchase the sports pass for $30.00.
All other Anna students in grades 7-12 can purchase the sports pass for $50.00.



Our 1st graders are learning about life long ago. They created items to barter and trade!








5th grade students enjoyed learning how to fold flags with local veterans today. Each student was given a flag to take home as a keepsake. Thanks so much to all the veterans who took time to come into our classroom today!





Thanks to the Lock One Community Arts Pinwheel Productions for the invitation to the live science show with Mr. C. The fourth and fifth graders learned about the Laws of Motion and agreed that science is fun!


The Elementary Bookfair starts tomorrow!! We will be open Monday - Wednesday 8:30am-3pm and Thursday 10am-3pm AND 5pm-7:30pm. All proceeds help our elementary buy new books for the library!


Thank you to the High School National Honors Society for providing childcare during Parent Teacher Conferences last night! This will be available during conferences on Thursday, November 9th as well!


The 4th graders send a big thank you to Sheila Strunk and Carol Wentz for sharing about the history behind Anna's famous author, Lois Lenski.
