Congrats to our 8th Graders for completing the Skilled Trades Ninja Challenge today! Thanks to the Workforce Partnership for sponsoring this annual event. We will send the top 3 boys and top 3 girls to compete against the other Shelby County schools at UVCC later this school year.
Anna High School's Art Classes experienced a fun layering learning activity by creating artwork out of pancake batter. Students say that it was fun and tasty learning activity!

Two hour delay for Wednesday, November 20.
The high school Digital Interactive Media class partnered with the Elementary library to foster intergenerational learning and a love of reading. Media students created custom Tonies, preloaded with audio recordings of books and songs they produced as part of a culminating project. These interactive gifts were presented to the Elementary library, along with a book-sharing session with the kindergarten class.
Congratulations to our MS/HS TEA-chers of the Month for September and October! Mrs. Kara Kipp was our September winner. She is doing an outstanding job in the Superintendent's Office juggling all of the many tasks that are thrown her way! Mrs. Zumberger is our October winner. She is our junior and senior English teacher and strives to push her students while making class fun. She has also taken over the huge undertaking that is the high school yearbook! Congratulations to our winners, and we would like to thank Champion Nutrition for their sponsorship of this award!

Last week, the 3rd graders did a tour of downtown Sidney learning about our history! Fun fact: The Village of Anna was named after the daughter of John W. Carey. John Carey was the local contractor for Carey's Hall.
