At Anna Elementary School, we believe every child can achieve great things when held to high expectations and provided with the support they need to reach their full potential. Our goal is to create a positive learning environment where students enjoy coming to school each day while striving to become the best version of themselves.

Our students are engaged in a rigorous, high-quality curriculum across all content areas. In mathematics, we use Go Math! by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt to develop strong computational skills, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving strategies. In English Language Arts, students experience a rich variety of literature and informational texts through Wonders by McGraw Hill while building the foundational reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills necessary for lifelong success. Students are also encouraged to develop a love of reading by exploring a wide range of genres and reading levels through our classroom and school libraries, all supported by the Accelerated Reader program. Science and Social Studies are taught at every grade level using engaging, hands-on experiences that help students build a strong understanding of the world around them.

While academic excellence is a priority, we are equally committed to developing character and fostering a strong sense of community. Students learn what it means to be an Anna Rocket through our Rocket Behavior Framework and build important social-emotional skills through our Character Strong program. Our staff believes in celebrating student growth and achievement, which is why students proudly collect Brag Tags throughout their six years at Anna Elementary. These meaningful recognitions serve as lasting reminders of their accomplishments and positive contributions to our school community.
