Welcome to Anna Elementary School!  

We are excited to embark on a year full of learning and growing.  We at Anna Elementary School believe in holding high expectations for our students while at the same time providing the right kind of support for each child to reach their full potential.  Our goal is for our students to enjoy coming to school while striving to be the best version of themselves each and every day.

Our students are provided with an engaging curriculum in all content areas.  The updated Go Math by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt has been adopted this school year.  The program allows for students to engage in learning through the online program Waggle where students are able to practice their learning on their own level.  Our students experience a wide range of stories and text through the reading series Wonders by McGraw-Hill.  Students are able to explore their reading interests with a variety of reading levels and genres through our school library and classroom libraries all aligned with Accelerated Reader.  Science and Social Studies is taught at all grade levels with a variety of hands-on activities and resources with the emphasis on students grasping a strong foundation of the world in which they live.  

You will see students enter our school with brag tags hung on their backpacks.  Our staff believe in recognizing our students’ achievements.  Students are given brag tags to wear on their bags and are able to collect them within their 6 years attending Anna Elementary School.  Students learn what it means to be an Anna Rocket through the Anna Rocket Behavior framework and work on building strong character with the Character Strong Program.
